I am not accepting custom requests at this time. I will stock on Hyena Cart as I have openings available.

Go help some kids play!

When I heard about Vance Playground Project Amy from Crankypants was running I had to jump in to help! I've been following Amy for a couple years now and adore Henry, Emperor Crankypants himself, feeling like I know him from Amy's faithful blogging. I'm just picturing him kicking the dirt in the middle of an empty lot where a nice playground *should* stand. How sad. :( So let's help them out to fund a fun and safe playground!

The perfect colorway came to mind to offer up for this charity. Laines Magnifiques dyed up a one of a kind spin on the popular "Playtime" colorway, adding a little something to make it "Outdoor Playtime"! How fitting!

On Monday, May 18th at 12p.m. you can help out and have your chance to grab these OOAK shorties that will never be recreated. Check it out!

Some purdy customs and update

These semi-customs were stocked at my super fun birthday stocking and here they are all done up and ready to head up to their new homes!

This is the ever-so-delish "Neverland" by Selah on Honey Organic Merino. I kid you not - I was sad when I was finished knitting it. Selah=Love! <3

I never tire of knitting up Mosaic Moon yarns. This is "Treasure Map" on Cestari Superfine Merino. The depth of color in Morwenna yarns astonishes me.

Right now I'm working on an itty bitty pair of newborn longies that are I'd say 50% complete and next up on the needles is Yarnoodles Namibia for a "your yarn my needles" slot. (I want to keep it!)

How gorgeous!

Neat stuff!

See something new over there to the left? A cool progress bar I figured out how to place on my blog from Ravelry to show the progress of things I'm working up! Cool huh? So if you're curious of where things are with your custom (so long as I update it!) you can see it there! You have to be a member of Ravelry to be able to click and see it I think, but at the very least we've got that handy dandy bar showing how far along I am. :)

Wanna see some WIPs?

I don't know how you Northwester's do it! Seriously, this is the 9th day in a row of consecutive rain. Sheesh!

We had a bitty break from the rain this afternoon so we ran out to the sloshy grass to play some baseball, blow on some dandelions and snap some photos of works in progress.

J's new found baseball passion. For a four year old he's pretty good! His team is the pirate's, as you can see from his pirate head thingy and his eye patch *worn in the center of his head up higher so he can see, of course.

Homerun hit!

Liam stuck to finding ants and dandelions. And don't mind his outfit ensemble. That is a team effort of daddy dressing him and Liam picking out his own clothes. He loves this retro cars shirt made by the awesome Nissi of Sapo Verde. Mama made his new shorties - colorway is Run Fox Run from Teresa at Comfort Wool Co. Love!

I won't forget the WIP I promised!

Here is something special I'm working on for sumthin' special. Heehee!

And we've got some Mosaic Moon "Treasure Map" and the lovely "Neverland" dyed by Selah. All this lovely color is keeping my spirits up while the weather is so gray. :)

A special Elliebelly stocking

I really enjoyed working with Joyce from Elliebelly recently at my birthday stocking, so naturally I was stoked when she asked me to join her for a *very* special Crayon stocking. Joyce went all out for this! You've never seen so much color at one stocking I bet. If you want me to knit for you, grab your yarn and then go back and purchase the YYMN option listed there. Don't forget to grab some trim! The stocking is on Thursday at 12 p.m. right *here*.

Here's some of my favorites!

Just a heads up! Join Universal Mama on Monday, May 4th at 10 p.m. to celebrate May Day tropical style! I will be offering a semi-custom slot in a collaboration with Union Center Knits, Cherub's Closet and Rising Sun Earthworks. Woolies, organic lap tees and squishy cups! What a perfect combo!

Also, I'm so excited about this... I knit up a pair of capris in the Sand Castle colorway dyed by Sugarbubbie! I felt so nostalgic as I knit them. Memories of the beach made me miss my Jersey Girl days! I don't have a photo of them done up yet, but hope to add it later. It's a rainy day today so I hope we get some good light.

OK, so the best for last news!!! Ready for this announcement!!? I am now a bonafide WonderWAHM!

I wanted to offer my customers what I thought was the best pattern out there. I always hear how you like a nice wide leg. Well these certainly have it! I also like it because I feel the gusset is never going to gape. It has a great fit over all. So I hope you enjoy the change! If you have any questions let me know.

If you want to try out the new fit, the Sand Castle capris were knit with it! ;) Hope to see you Monday!
